5 Reasons to have a Winter Wedding in Scotland

Festive Photo.JPG

Here at Inglewood House and Spa in Central Scotland we love winter weddings, and these are a few reasons why:

White Wedding…

Winter weddings can be very romantic and relaxed.

In winter, the sun sits low in the sky, creating a breath-taking, scenic backdrop for your big day.  If you are lucky enough to get a sprinkling of snow, just think how beautiful the photos would be against the white snowy landscape with our beautiful Inglewood House in the background.

Warm and Cosy…

In the winter, the roaring log fires and candles in Inglewood House can create a warm and cosy atmosphere for your wedding. The log fires also offer the perfect backdrop for spectacular pictures.

Dress to Impress…

With the nights drawing in sooner, why not start your ceremony and evening party a little earlier, giving you more time to celebrate with friends. You can also dress our stunning ballroom to look like a magical scene from a fairy-tale.

Budget & Availability…

Choosing a winter wedding could also save you money; from the wedding venue to your suppliers, you will find that everything is a little less expensive than in summer and there will be more availability with your first choice of supplier.

We will offer competitive prices for the quieter months, usually from November to March (excluding December), as there are fewer wedding bookings in winter.

Something Different…

Having a winter wedding is also a little different, so you will stand out from the crowd. Everyone wants their wedding to be special, so what better way to do that than to choose the winter season for your big day.
